  • Conscious Mind
    The conscious mind is the part of you that thinks, analyses, plans, and makes decisions. It’s the mind you use every day — setting goals, solving problems, learning new information

    But its power is limited
    ✔️ Controls only 5–10% of mental activity
    ✔️ Holds around 7 pieces of information at once
    ✔️ Tends to overthink, resist change, and cling to familiar patterns

    How it filters reality
    Your conscious awareness is shaped by your internal model of reality — formed through memories, beliefs, and past experiences. To make sense of the world, it filters reality through three filters:

    🔴 Generalization — turning repeated experiences into one rules
    🔴 Deletion — ignoring certain information
    🔴 Distortion — reshaping what you perceive

    Only a small portion of all incoming information reaches conscious awareness
  • Subconscious Mind
    The subconscious mind runs everything automatically, from breathing and heart rate to habits, emotional responses, and long-term memories. It is powerful, but not logical

    It doesn’t analyse — it accepts what is repeated or emotionally charged
